Next year in minibuses holders of "Riga resident’s card" will pay € 0.7 per trip

Starting from January 1, 2014, those passengers having received Riga resident’s card and using "Riga resident’s card" in minibuses will pay € 0.7 per trip, but those not declared in Riga will have to pay the same fare as in other means of urban public transportation, i.e. € 1.20.

Today Riga City Council’s Commission for Licensing Commercial Public Transportation Services approved the prices of minibus tickets in euros submitted by "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme", which will take effect on January 1, 2014. The commission also approved all the discounts, which will be granted in case of buying an e-ticket for 10 or more trips.

The prices of minibus tickets loaded onto "Riga resident’s card":

1 trip - € 0.70

2 trips - € 1.40

4 trips - € 2.80

5 trips - € 3.50

10 trips - € 6.65

20 trips - € 12.60

50 trips - € 30.80

For those passengers not declared in Riga, the price of tickets will be the same as in trams, trolleybuses and buses:

1 trip - € 1.20

2 trips - € 2.40

4 trips - € 4.80
